The Kindergarten Section of Ideal Indian School celebrated Father’s Day with great enthusiasm on 21st June 2026. The celebration aimed to help the young learners express their love, respect, and gratitude towards their fathers through a variety of engaging and creative activities. Both the Morning and Evening sessions of the KG Section wore a festive look as the boys came dressed as their fathers, representing fathers from diverse professions and nationalities, while the girls carried placards featuring heartfelt messages and inspiring quotes expressing love and gratitude for fathers. The students also spoke a few words expressing their love, admiration, and appreciation for the care, guidance, and sacrifices made by their fathers. To make the occasion even more memorable, the children participated in fun-filled craft activities. KG 1 students enjoyed palm printing and colouring activities, while KG 2 students enthusiastically took part in paper-crushing and tie-and-mustache craft activities. Special colouring sheets were also distributed for the children to colour and present as heartfelt gifts to their fathers.
IIS HOLDS MENTAL HEALTH ORIENTATION ON “HACKING THE CORTISOL” FOR CLASS XII
Ideal Indian School organized an Orientation Programme on “Hacking the Cortisol: Turning Exam Terror into Biological Fuel” for Grade 12 students at the KG Auditorium. The session aimed to create awareness about stress, equip students with practical coping strategies, and foster positive attitudes toward the upcoming examinations. The programme commenced with a prayer by Mohammed Masood (Class 12-B), followed by a warm welcome by Ayra Rifard (Class 12-J). Addressing the students, the Acting Principal, Mr. Mohammad Azam Khan, delivered the inaugural speech, emphasizing the critical importance of mental well-being and stress management during crucial academic milestones. The topic and the guest speaker, Mrs. Sajeda Tanveer Ahmed Ansari, were then introduced by Ranita Reagan (Class 12-J). During the highly informative session, the guest speaker focused on understanding stress, cortisol, and practical techniques for managing academic pressure effectively. She introduced the concept of self-assessment through regular journaling and explained a structured, question-based problem-solving approach. Explaining the science behind cortisol—the stress hormone—she highlighted how appropriate levels can actually improve alertness and focus. She further elaborated on the body’s natural “Fight, Flight, and Freeze” modes, using real-life examples from the audience to demonstrate how these reactions influence student decision-making. Drawing a unique comparison to wildlife, she taught practical techniques to handle overstimulation, including controlled breathing exercises and physical movement methods to release body tension. The interactive session witnessed active participation, with students sharing personal concerns from the stage and their seats. As a token of appreciation for the valuable tools shared, the guest speaker was presented with a school memento. IIS GAVEL CLUB INSTALLS OFFICE BEARERS
The Installation Ceremony of the new Executive Committee (Excom) of the Ideal Indian School Gavel Club was held on 11th June 2026 at the KG Auditorium. The event marked the beginning of a new leadership term dedicated to developing the public speaking, communication, and leadership skills of club members. The programme began with a warm welcome address by the Club Treasurer, Master Davin Dsouza, who thanked the guests, members, and well-wishers for their presence and continued support of the club. The highlight of the ceremony was the installation of the new office bearers. The Scouts and Guides of Ideal Indian School organised the “Safe From Harm – Awareness Campaign” with the objective of creating awareness among students about the positive and negative influence of social media on young minds and promoting safe and responsible online behaviour. The programme aimed to educate students on the importance of digital safety, respectful communication, cyber awareness, emotional well-being, and the responsible use of social media platforms. The school was honoured to welcome Mr. Ahmed Khamis B. Al Yousuf, Scout Activities Consultant, and Ms. Paramjeet Bhullar, Coordinator for Expatriate Scouts, as the chief guests for the programme. IIS STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN CIMUN
Students of Ideal Indian School actively participated in the Columba International Model United Nations (CIMUN), conducted online on the 27th and 28th of April. The conference served as an engaging platform where students assumed the roles of international delegates and deliberated on global issues through structured debate and diplomacy. Each committee comprised an average of around 26 delegates, with approximately 140–150 participants taking part from different countries in the conference overall. In a commendable achievement, Davin Shaldon D’Souza of 11-D and Leonal Mathew of 12-A were awarded the Honourable Mention for their notable performance. Leyasri of 12-F was recognized with the Most Improved Award for demonstrating significant progress and dedication throughout the conference. Ameera Khan of Class X-G and Kaeton Niall Lewis of Class XI-D also displayed great enthusiasm and active involvement throughout the sessions.
