IIS LAUNCHES ECO KIDS CLUB

The Junior Section of Ideal Indian School proudly inaugurated the ‘ECO KIDS’ CLUB under the theme ‘GREEN QATAR IS OUR FUTURE.’ Recognizing that to plant a garden today is to invest in tomorrow, the club’s motto echoed, “He who plants a tree, plants hope. The inaugural ceremony commenced with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Ammar Md. Irshadullah of class 4. Maysa Ahmed, also from class 4, extended a warm welcome to all attendees. Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb, the principal, ceremoniously inaugurated the event by cutting the ribbon, symbolizing a new chapter in environmental care and guardianship. Following this, saplings were planted and watered. The principal imparted invaluable advice to the students, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the plants to safeguard our environment. The primary objective of planting saplings was to instill environmental consciousness among students, emphasizing the critical role trees play in mitigating climate change and fostering sustainable practices. Led by the principal, all present pledged their commitment to environmental responsibility. The Junior Section choir students added a melodious touch to the occasion with their captivating song. The event was hosted by Ms. Sharon Metilda. Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb, Headmaster Mr. Sajid Shamim, and AHM Ms. Shyla Jose, Students and teachers enthusiastically joined in planting saplings, marking a collective effort towards a greener future. IIS SCOUTS PARTICIPATED IN NATIONAL SPORT DAY

Ideal Indian School Scouts participated in the Qatar National Sport Day Program in collaboration with the Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue (DICID) under the slogan “Scouting Movement between Sports and Dialogue” at the Qatar Scouts & Guides Association centre. The program began with a cycling event followed by football and basketball competitions. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and a love for outdoor activities among the youth. The second session began with a presentation by DICID that focused on cultural understanding and appreciation for different perspectives, traditions, and ways of life, enriching our collective human experience and promoting unity amidst diversity. The events proved to be an enriching experience, combining physical activity, cultural understanding, and a sense of community. At the end of the program, all participants were presented gifts by the organizers. Six scouts from Ideal Indian School, along with Mr. Vijayant Thapa (Scout Master), attended the Qatar National Sports Day Program.

IIS CELEBRATES QATAR NATIONAL SPORTS DAY

The students of Ideal Indian School enthusiastically participated in the National Sports Day, which Qatar celebrates every year with the aim of promoting a healthy and sporty lifestyle. The Department of Physical Education organized a wide range of sports, games, and fitness activities to promote the culture of practicing sports and make it a way of life. The Principal of Ideal Indian School, Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb, inaugurated the celebration by flagging off the Bicycle Rally along with all Heads of Sections. In the Bicycle Rally, students from KG, Junior, Boys, and Girls sections participated with joy and enthusiasm. Ms. Jesna Sebin (Junior Section), Mr. Pramod Ravi (Girls Section), and Mr. Amazad Khan (Boys Section) were the in-charges, and Mr. Vijayant Thapa (BS) coordinated the Bicycle Rally. A Skating Display of the Junior Section, Girls Section, and Boys Section was also conducted at APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium. Students mesmerized the event with the skills and talents displayed on this occasion. Mr. Raheem (Junior Section), Ms. Ajanya, and Mr. Satender (Boys Section) were in charge, and Ms. Suman (Girls Section) coordinated the Skating Display. Junior Section Students showcased the most enthusiastic participation in the sports day celebration with maximum participation by presenting a mass display of freehand exercises conducted for Classes 3 and 4. A Circuit Run competition was also conducted for Classes 1 and 2. Mr. Raheem and Ms. Jesna were the in-charges, respectively. The National Sports Day Celebration was coordinated and supervised by Mr. Mohamed Nowfal VM, HOD Physical Education.

IIS KINDERGARTEN HOLDS DANCE CONTEST

The Kindergarten Section of Ideal Indian School held an exciting solo dance contest recently. Adorned in various costumes, children displayed their impressive talents with enthusiasm. A total no. of 31 enthusiastic students participated in the competition performing diverse songs in multiple languages. Their graceful movements captured the moment. The standout performers from each class were acknowledged by giving certificates.

Speech and Handwriting Competition

The Junior Section at Ideal Indian School conducted a handwriting competition for the students of classes 1 and 2 and a speech competition for classes 3 and 4. The event was organized to nurture and showcase the communication and creative skills of our students, and both competitions witnessed enthusiastic participation. JUNIOR SECTION OF IIS HOLDS THE STAR OF IDEAL AWARD CEREMONY

The Star of Ideal for September, October, and November was given to the Junior Section students recently. The Star of Ideal Award has been instituted to foster qualities such as cooperation, cleanliness, uniformity, punctuality, and attitude. Its goal is to inspire others to take on the effort and enthusiasm of the awardees. The students received medals and certificates from Headmaster Mr. Sajid Shamim and Assistant Headmistress Ms. Shyla Jose. They wished the students success and encouraged them to continue being honest and disciplined.

IIS CELEBRATED 75th REPUBLIC DAY OF INDIA

The 75th Republic Day of India was celebrated at Ideal Indian School this morning with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb unfurled the national flag amidst the chanting of the national anthem by the School Choir. Heads of Sections, Heads of Departments, Teaching and non-teaching staff, Scouts and Guides, parents and students joined the celebrations. In his keynote address Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb, urged students to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution of the country. He stressed the importance of striving for a society where everyone is free, respected, and devoid of any fear of discrimination based on political or geographical boundaries. He also said that with a rich tapestry of diversity, traditions, and a robust democratic framework, India has earned widespread admiration globally. During their speeches, students reiterated their bond with their motherland. Najiya Zainudheen of class 8 delivered his speech in English, while Samadrita Sarkar also from class 8 expressed his thoughts in Hindi. The school choir captivated the audience with songs that stirred patriotic feelings. Boy Scouts and Girl Guides were honored with certificates and medals for their valuable services rendered on various occasions. The ceremony started with a prayer by Khuzaima Kazmi of class 9. Shreya Saravanan, Asst. Head Girl, extended a warm welcome to the gathering and Gouri Shanker, Asst. Head Boy, proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Sana Sayeed anchored the program. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood, encapsulating the essence of the Republic Day festivities.

IIS BIDS FAREWELL TO OUTGOING STUDENTS

In a recently held spectacular ceremony, Ideal Indian School bid farewell to the outgoing students of class XII. The meticulous planning and execution of the event were led by the students of Class XI. The outgoing students recounted their days in the school and expressed their gratitude to the teachers for all the painstaking efforts in shaping their personalities. They also thanked their juniors wholeheartedly. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb extended best wishes to the outgoing students for their exams. He urged them to pursue their dreams with passion and resilience. On this occasion, the names of the students who are honoured with special awards for their outstanding performance in curricular and extracurricular activities were announced. KG FLOWERS DAY

Flowers Day was celebrated by the students of Kindergarten recently. The idea behind the concept was to expose them to the world of flowers. The tiny tots adorned themselves in various flower-themed costumes, embodying the spirit of sunflowers, lotuses, marigolds, roses, tulips, and more. Children wore dresses, accessories, and hats, which were innovatively decorated with flowers. They all looked stunning in their attire. The activity was not only refreshing, as the bright flowers, but also helped the students distinguish between different flowers and their colors.
