The Scouts and Guides of Ideal Indian School organised the “Safe From Harm – Awareness Campaign” with the objective of creating awareness among students about the positive and negative influence of social media on young minds and promoting safe and responsible online behaviour. The programme aimed to educate students on the importance of digital safety, respectful communication, cyber awareness, emotional well-being, and the responsible use of social media platforms.

The school was honoured to welcome Mr. Ahmed Khamis B. Al Yousuf, Scout Activities Consultant, and Ms. Paramjeet Bhullar, Coordinator for Expatriate Scouts, as the chief guests for the programme. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Mohammed Azam Khan, Acting Principal, whose encouragement and support added great significance to the occasion. Adding further grace to the event were Dr. Nazima Bi Shaikh, Vice Principal (Girls Section), Ms. Khatija T.C., Headmistress (Girls Section), Ms. Lipsy Sabu, Assistant Headmistress (Boys Section), and Mr. Anwar Sadath, Acting Assistant Headmaster (Boys Section).

The awareness programme focused on important issues such as cyberbullying, excessive screen time, online scams, privacy protection, fake information, the emotional impact of social media, and the importance of maintaining healthy digital habits. Through interactive sessions, role plays, presentations, posters, and activity stations conducted by Senior Scouts and Guides, students were guided on how to use social media wisely, safely, and responsibly.

The Scouts and Guides displayed excellent teamwork, communication skills, and social responsibility throughout the programme under the leadership of Aysha Nahan Asif (Head Guide), Mohammed Aazim (Head Scout), Bhavya Babu (Assistant Head Guide), and Ahmed Jassim M.J. (Assistant Head Scout). The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and proved to be highly informative and impactful. It successfully encouraged students to become responsible digital citizens and reinforced the values of safety, respect, kindness, discipline, and self-awareness in both online and offline environments.

The event was coordinated by Mr. Vijayant Thapa, Scout Master, Ms. Suman Panwar, Guides Incharge, and Mr. Saleem Bin Esa, Scouts Incharge, whose dedicated efforts ensured the smooth organisation and success of the programme. Their leadership, along with the support of the Scouts and Guides Unit and all participants, played a vital role in making the awareness campaign meaningful, educational, and successful.

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) General Body Election Meeting of Ideal Indian School was successfully conducted on 9th May 2026 for the Morning Session and on 16th May 2026 for the Evening Session. The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, reflecting the strong partnership between the school and the parent community. The programme commenced with the introduction of the nominees contesting for the PTA Executive Committee, where their professional background, experience, and vision for the development of the school community were presented before the general body. Dr. Sajid Shamim, the Coordinator of the programme, explained the voting guidelines and procedures to ensure a fair, transparent, and well-organized election process.

The Acting Principal, Mr. Mohammad Azam Khan, delivered the keynote address highlighting the strategic goals and developmental plans for the academic year. He emphasized student welfare, academic excellence, and the important role of the PTA in maintaining the high standards of the institution. Parents were encouraged to continue as active partners in their children’s educational journey and in the progress of the school. An interactive Question and Answer session followed, during which parents actively engaged with the school administration and raised various topics of concern and interest. The Acting Principal addressed the concerns and suggestions with detailed explanations and clarifications, ensuring productive interaction between the school and the parent community.

T as Joint Secretary, Mr. Arun Prasath as Treasurer, Ms. Saina as Assistant Treasurer, Ms. Jasna Anwar as Cultural Secretary, and Ms. Krishna Priya as Assistant Cultural Secretary. The Executive Committee Members include Ms. Abida Shafeeque, Ms. Abdu Samad R., Mr. Joshua Ravikumar, Ms. Afnan Fathima, Mr. Ramees Vadakkettil, Ms. Bindhu Babu, Ms. Nishima Rasheed, Ms. Surabhi Suresh, Ms. Jerrin Elsa, and Ms. Sanoj representing various sections including Boys, Girls, Junior, and K.G.

Rajesh the Secretary, Ms. Krishnakumari the Joint Secretary, Mr. Shibu the Treasurer, Ms. Aneesha the Assistant Treasurer, Ms. Swarna Gawri the Cultural Secretary, and Mr. Imran Sab Hebswar the Assistant Cultural Secretary. The Executive Committee Members are Ms. Farzana Poolath I., Mr. Afzal Majeed, Mr. Suhayya Zuber, Ms. Soni Bhimraya, Mr. Erinto Rappai, Ms. Dhanya Vivek (BS), Ms. Raseela (GS), Ms. Nandana (JS), and Ms. Greeshma (KG), representing Junior, Boys, Girls, and K.G. sections.

Ideal Indian School showcased sporting excellence at the CBSE Qatar Cluster Handball Tournament hosted by Shantiniketan Indian School. Students across all categories delivered strong performances, demonstrating teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship.

The Under-19 Boys and Girls teams won Gold Medals, while the Under-17 Boys and Under-14 Girls teams secured Bronze Medals, bringing great pride to the school community.
