In a spectacular ceremony held recently at the school, the students’ councils of Boys’, Girls’ and Junior Sections for the year 2025-26 were administered the oath of their office by Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb. Heads of Sections and Heads of Departments attended the ceremony. The new members were then presented with their badges and they took an oath to uphold the values of the school, be honest, responsible and committed to serving the student body.
Members of the Student Councils are:
Boys’ Section: Head Boy – Ihsan Mohamed Shameer, Asst. Head Boy- Leonel Mathew, Cultural Secretary- Mohammad Mustafa Shafeth, Asst. Cultural Secretary- Adidev Sajith, Sports Secretary – Yedhu Krishna, Asst. Sports Secretary – Muzafar P. M, Head Prefect Safin Parker, Head Scout – Chirag U. Suvarna and Asst. Head Scout- Mohammed Aazim.
Girls’ Section: Head Girl – Venika Anil, Asst. Head Girl- Saja Amina, Cultural Secretary- Nakshatra, Sports Secretary- Christin John, Asst. Cultural Secretary- Shivani Thiripathi, Asst. Sports Secretary- Manha Muhammad, Head Prefect – Afrin Salma, Head Guide- Sahana Sherin and Asst. Head Guide- Aysha Nahan
Apart from these, Prefects, House Captains, Vice Captains and Sports Captains from the four Houses of Boys’, Girls’ and Junior Sections were also sworn into their offices. Activity Coordinators, House Coordinators and Housemistresses were also inducted on the occasion. Ms. Jerrin Elsa, Ms. Nafisha Sultana and Ms. Neema Nixon are the Activity Coordinators of Junior, Girls’ and Boys’ Sections respectively.
In his keynote address, Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected council members. He emphasized the value of teamwork and encouraged them to lead by example, demonstrating honesty and integrity in all their endeavors. He also said that their collective efforts have the power to make a meaningful impact, both within the school and in the wider community.
The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Khalid Soban. Ihsan Mohamed Shameer, the Head Boy, warmly welcomed the gathering, while the Head Girl, Venika Anil, delivered the vote of thanks. The School Choir rendered the School Anthem and Ms. Rejula Sadath compered the programme.
