The Junior Section of Ideal Indian School recently celebrated the festival of Eid with great joy and excitement. The event aimed to promote cultural understanding, unity, and the spirit of togetherness among students and staff.
The assembly began with a prayer by Ahmed Shaban, followed by a speech delivered by Amina Ayriah of Class 3. She eloquently explained the meaning and importance of Eid-ul-Adha, highlighting its core values of compassion, charity, and gratitude.
A lively dance performance by boys and girls showcased the main traditions of Eid—spending time with family, exchanging sweets, applying henna, and enjoying other joyful customs associated with the festival. The Headmaster of the Junior Section, Mr. Sajid Shamim, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of remembering the less fortunate and being grateful during the festive season. The host of the day, Ms. Nisha Raj, concluded the assembly by wishing everyone Eid Mubarak.
As part of the celebration, students also engaged in various Eid-themed activities in their classrooms, which added to the festive spirit and enhanced the learning experience.
