The Under-19 Girls Football Team of Ideal Indian School brought immense pride to the school by emerging as Champions in the CBSE Qatar Cluster Football Competition 2026–27. The team displayed exceptional skill, confidence, and coordination throughout the championship, defeating strong opponents with remarkable teamwork, determination, and perseverance.

The victorious team was led by Captain Huda Musthafa (XII I) and Vice-Captain Minna Fathima (XII H). The other team members included Maryam Mohammed (XII), Fadiya Sheit (XII), Shifa Obaid (XII), Fathima Anood (XII), Summaya Mohammed (XII), Nabiha Nayeem (XI), Menhal Sajid (XI), Diya Fathima (XI), Ashwini (XI), Aiza Nijas (XI), Ruqaya Altaf (XI), Ameena (XI), Ridha Zainab (XI), Aza Amina (X), Rabia Nayeem (IX), and Jasrah (IX).

The team was guided and mentored by Coach Mr. Vijayant Thapa, Manager Ms. Suman Panwar, and Assistant Manager Ms. Ajanya M, whose constant encouragement, dedicated training, and unwavering support played a significant role in the team’s outstanding success.

The Acting Principal, Mohammad Azam Khan, Vice Principal Dr. Nazima Bi Shaikh, and Headmistress Ms. Khatija TC congratulated the team and appreciated their hard work, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship. The school management also praised the coaches for their support and guidance and encouraged the team to achieve greater success in future competitions.

Students of Ideal Indian School emerged victorious in the speech competition organized by the Mahakavi Mandram in connection with the celebration of the Tamil New Year. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 18 students of Ideal Indian School. The competition was conducted in two phases — the Preliminary Round and the Grand Finale. In the finals, the students showcased exceptional oratory skills, confidence, and command over the language, bringing laurels to the school.

Danell Nechemya of Grade 4 secured First Place, while Janani Sundhar of Grade 5 also won First Place. Krithya Jijendran of Grade 5 achieved Third Place, and Brandlin Meeza of Grade 6 secured Third Place.
