IIS SCOUTS & GUIDES PARTICIPATE IN JOTA–JOTI 2026: The Scouts and Guides of Ideal Indian School enthusiastically participated in JOTA–JOTI 2026, organised by the Qatar Scouts and Guides Association (QSGA) at the Qatar Amateur Radio Society.
JOTA–JOTI (Jamboree on the Air – Jamboree on the Internet) is a global Scouting event that connects Scouts and Guides from different parts of the world through amateur radio and internet-based communication. It provides an engaging and educational platform for young people to develop international friendships, exchange cultural experiences, and enhance their knowledge of communication technologies.
Representing Ideal Indian School, Scouts Ahmed Jasim (XI A) and Mohammed Elffatih (X A) from the Boys’ Section, along with Guides Bhavya Babu (XI G), Ameena Hasham (XI G), Aashika Menon (XI H), and Menhal Sajid (XI J) from the Girls’ Section, took part in the event. The students were accompanied and guided by Mr. Vijayant Thapa (Scout Master), Ms. Suman Panwar (Guides Leader), and Mr. Saleem Bin Esa (Scouts In-charge). They coordinated with the Scout officials and supported the school contingent throughout the programme.
The event provided the students with a valuable opportunity to explore global Scouting, experience modern communication technologies, and interact with fellow Scouts and Guides from diverse backgrounds.
